Check the fit once. Store with confidence. A few measurements help us match your column collection to RECOL’s shaped foam inserts.
Measure the complete column
The current RECOL specification accommodates columns up to 320 mm overall length, including caps and end fittings, and up to 16 mm diameter. Measure the widest part of the complete assembly. Send us details of unusually shaped or oversized fittings for a compatibility check.
Choose the right cabinet
| Model | Positions | Drawers | Width × depth × height |
|---|---|---|---|
| RECOL30 | 30 | 5 | 280 × 410 × 325 mm |
| RECOL60 | 60 | 10 | 280 × 410 × 590 mm |
| RECOL90 | 90 | 15 | 280 × 410 × 860 mm |
Allow space for opening drawers and choose a level, stable position with a suitable load capacity. RECOL30 is designed for benchtop use; RECOL60 can be positioned on a suitable bench or floor, and RECOL90 is the floor-standing model.
Use a location your team recognises
There are six positions per drawer, marked A–F. Record locations such as Drawer 3 / Position B against each column in your existing logbook or inventory system. Return the column to its assigned position after use.
Care for the column as well as the workspace
Follow the column manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning, capping, storage solvent and storage conditions. Keep any original packaging needed for transport or specialist storage. RECOL provides physical organisation; your laboratory’s records and procedures remain essential.
Make room for tools and fittings
The optional RECOLSERT tray replaces a drawer’s foam insert with nine compartments for small tools and fittings.
